Spicing Up Your Small Bathroom
Do you have one of those really small bathrooms, the ones that can only hold a toilet and sink, and are not sure what to do with it to make it enjoyable? The walls are of course white, like bathrooms usually are, which makes for a dull and boring room. Most of us are looking for a house that spices things up. Even if it is the bathroom.
Most often then not bathrooms like these are in an older home, which means that the paint on the ceiling is peeling away. You shouldn’t paint over the ceiling because this will still cause the paint to keep peeling off. What would be best is to scrape off the paint that way you can work on a smooth surface. Then you should use Con-Tact paper. Try finding and using a print something that will match the theme that you want for your bathroom.
If you want a more exciting, unusual, and exotic look then you can always use bamboo reed fencing. Cut a piece big enough to fit the space and use a staple gun to attach it to the ceiling. This will give a more tropical feel to the ceiling and could be very cute coupled with some yellow and orange towels if you have any.
Painting the walls is the easy part. I recommend using a light color because using a deep color will make the room look smaller then it already is. Pick a color that will match the kind of towels that you have or will purchase and make sure that it matches whatever you did with the ceiling. Once you are finished you will be much happier with your new bathroom.
